Persian music, the music believed to be
history tracing back to centuries is quite rich in its own styles.
It is said that several genres including folk music, classical music
as well as pop music has sprouted under its blessings. Persia holds
a cluster of ethnic communities each with different style of folk
music.
Most famous style of folk music is widespread in the northeastern
part of Persia called Khorasan. Here, enthralling folk sons are

Reza Shajarian is the most celebrated practitioner of Persian
classical music. 40 years of experiences has gifted him an
unblemished performance, marvelous sense of music and commanding
tone. Opera also attributed its first origin to Persia.
